Tem formado grande n\u00famero de doutores ao longo de v\u00e1rios anos, desde 1975. Tem uma \u00e1rea de concentra\u00e7\u00e3o e dez linhas de pesquisa:<\/p><p>1 &#8211; Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o de t\u00e9cnicas e estrat\u00e9gias educacionais;<\/p><p>2 &#8211; Patog\u00eanese e imunopatologia de doen\u00e7as transmiss\u00edveis espec\u00edficas;<\/p><p>3 &#8211; Desenvolvimento de novas t\u00e9cnicas de gest\u00e3o e modelagem da informa\u00e7\u00e3o;<\/p><p>4 &#8211; Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o de morbidade e mortalidade decorrentes da polui\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental;<\/p><p>5 &#8211; Altera\u00e7\u00f5es funcionais, histopatol\u00f3gicas e moleculares dos processos oncog\u00eanicos;<\/p><p>6 &#8211; Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o de novas terap\u00eauticas ou procedimentos de interven\u00e7\u00e3o em processos patol\u00f3gicos;<\/p><p>7 &#8211; Determina\u00e7\u00e3o das altera\u00e7\u00f5es bioqu\u00edmicas, celulares e histol\u00f3gicas de processos patol\u00f3gicos cr\u00f4nicos ou agudos;<\/p><p>8 &#8211; Determina\u00e7\u00e3o das altera\u00e7\u00f5es bioqu\u00edmicas, celulares e histopatol\u00f3gicas em modelos experimentais de processos patol\u00f3gicos;<\/p><p>9 &#8211; Citogen\u00f4mica &#8211; Arquitetura Gen\u00f4mica e implica\u00e7\u00f5es para o fen\u00f3tipo cl\u00ednico;<\/p><p>10 &#8211; Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o do Metiloma &#8211; Estudo das regi\u00f5es metiladas do genoma e constru\u00e7\u00e3o de perfil de metila\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p><div>O Programa disp\u00f5e de excelente infraestrutura para pesquisa e forma\u00e7\u00e3o de recursos humanos. Conta com laborat\u00f3rios e metodologias variadas, equipamentos sofisticados e um complexo hospitalar de reconhecida excel\u00eancia, al\u00e9m de recursos de inform\u00e1tica e
