Abstract submission<br \/>\n2o. Registration (Payment)<br \/>\n3o. Validation of registration<br \/>\n4o. Proposal\u2019s evaluation<\/p>\n<p>Before starting your Abstract\u2019s submission, choose the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/prolam\/en\/programacao\/seminarios-de-pesquisa\/\"><strong>Panel<\/strong><\/a> of your interest and write down the instructions below.<\/p>\n<p>Deadline to proposal\u2019s submissions: <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>December 10th, 2018<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span>Outcome of approved proposals: <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>February 10th, 2019<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nDeadline for complete works (Congress Annals): <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>May 30th, 2019<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Guidelines for Abstract submission (Panels)<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">1. <strong><u>About the autorship<\/u><\/strong>:<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\">a) <strong>Proposals could be presented by<\/strong>:<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>Professors<\/li>\n<li>Masters and Doctoral postgraduates<\/li>\n<li>Researchers with bachelor\u2019s degree<\/li>\n<li>Undergraduate students with in co-autorship with a professor or adviser<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>b)<\/strong> <strong>Each author may submit maximum ONE proposal as the <em>main author<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>c) Each proposal may have a maximum of three authors.<\/strong><\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>2. <\/strong><\/span><\/span><strong><u>Guidelines for Abstract\u2019s submission in Panels:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>a) Abstracts must be submitted through a specific website: <a href=\"http:\/\/conferencias.fflch.usp.br\/cippal\/Inscricoes\/index\"><strong><u>Call for Submissions <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">(<em>Chamada para Submiss\u00f5es<\/em>)<\/span><\/u><\/strong><\/a>. In the first access you <a href=\"http:\/\/conferencias.fflch.usp.br\/cippal\/Inscricoes\/user\/account\"><strong><u>must register your personal data<\/u><\/strong><\/a>. When accessing the website, after the initial instructions you will find a link <strong><em>\u201cClick here to start the Submission\u201d<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nb) Choose your Panel in &#8220;<strong>Conference Modalities<\/strong>&#8221; (&#8220;<em>Modalidades da Confer\u00eancia<\/em>&#8220;) and follow the &#8220;<strong>Guidelines<\/strong>&#8221; (<em>&#8220;Diretrizes&#8221;<\/em>) and &#8220;<strong>Copyright Statement<\/strong>&#8221; (<em>&#8220;Declara\u00e7\u00e3o de Direitos Autorais&#8221;<\/em>).<br \/>\nc) Add the data of the authors: full name, electronic address, Institution; country of origin and a brief biographical summary.<br \/>\nd) Repeat this process for each <strong>co-author<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">e) Add your proposal\u2019s title and abstract in the choosen <strong>Panel<\/strong> (&#8220;<em>Semin\u00e1rio de Pesquisa<\/em>&#8220;)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: the\u00a0<strong>Abstract<\/strong>\u00a0should have <strong>300 words<\/strong> and contain the following elements: subject, objectives, methodological data, theoretical interpretative paradigm and results achieved<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">3. <u>Metadata for Proposal Indexing<\/u><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>a) Include key-words (between 3-5 words) and the proposal\u2019s metadata with information about which <strong>Latin America Region<\/strong> and <strong>Countries<\/strong> you research (example: South America, Andean Countries, Mercosur etc).<br \/>\nb) Proposals must be of <strong>regional relevance.\u00a0<\/strong>For this purpose, proposals should address (i) Latin America as a whole or a subcontinent\u2019s region; (ii) themes that cover two or more region\u2019s countries.<br \/>\nc) Proposals must be written in <strong>Portuguese, Spanish<\/strong> or <strong>English<\/strong>.<br \/>\nd) <strong>Complete your submission<\/strong>. After that, you will receive a <strong>Submission\u2019s Confirmation. <\/strong>Please note your registration will only be validated after the <strong>Registration Fee<\/strong> payment, according to the information below<strong>.<u><br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>4. <u>Payment of Registration Fee and Validation<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Registration Fees\u2019 payments shall be made by the PayPal system (it is not necessary to create an account). To make the payment you need to access the<a href=\"http:\/\/conferencias.fflch.usp.br\/cippal\/Inscricoes\/schedConf\/registration\"> <strong>Congress Registration website <em>(&#8220;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Inscri\u00e7\u00e3o&#8221;<\/span>)<\/em><\/strong><\/a><em>.<\/em><strong><u><br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>a) Residents in <strong>Brazil<\/strong>: <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>R$ 120,00<\/strong><\/span><strong>.<br \/>\n<\/strong>b) Residents <strong>outside Brazil<\/strong>: <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>$US 40,00<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The registration fee is charged for each proposal submitted and for each author.<\/li>\n<li>For the payment of the Registration Fee, return to the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/conferencias.fflch.usp.br\/cippal\/Inscricoes\">Homepage <\/a><\/strong>and access \u201cRegistrations\u201d, or enter through the <strong><u><a href=\"http:\/\/conferencias.fflch.usp.br\/cippal\/Inscricoes\/schedConf\/registration\">Registrations<\/a> (&#8220;<em>Inscri\u00e7\u00e3o&#8221;<\/em>)<br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Please leave blank the field <strong>Code for Registration Fee<\/strong> (&#8220;<strong><em>C\u00f3digo para taxa de inscri\u00e7\u00e3o<\/em>&#8221; <\/strong>).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Co-authors <\/strong>must also pay the Registration Fee<strong> (<\/strong>option<strong> Additional Co-author Registration [&#8220;<em>C\u00f3digo para taxa de inscri\u00e7\u00e3o<\/em>&#8220;]).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>c) The General Coordination of the Congress may examine requests for exemption from Registration Fee in the following cases: author resides outside of S\u00e3o Paulo city; if he or she is a student without scholarship or if is unemployed. The exemption of registration fees\u2019 applications must be accompanied by documented justification, which will be analyzed by the General Coordination. Requests for exemption must be submitted to the email prolam_usp@usp.br until <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>October 30th, 2018<\/strong><\/span><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Note: If your exemption request is approved you will receive a <strong>&#8220;Registration fee code&#8221;<\/strong> that must be communicated during the Registration proccess<\/p>\n<p>d) The author will be communicated about his or her registration was accepted until the registration\u2019s deadline.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>5. <u>On the work\u2019s evaluation and selection:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>a) Proposal\u2019s anaysis will be carried out by the Congress Scientific Committee.<br \/>\nb) The analysis results will be announced <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>until February 10th, 2019<\/strong><\/span><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note: The organization will not refund the registration\u2019s fees of rejected proposals.<\/strong> However, authors of rejected proposals will be able to attend the Congress as Audit Students and participate in the <strong>Short Term Courses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>6. <\/strong><\/span><strong><u>On publication of full papers in the Congress Annals:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>a) Complete papers should be sent for publication on Congress Annals by <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>May 30th, 2019.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span>b) Only works that are within <a href=\"http:\/\/sites.usp.br\/prolam\/programacao\/seminarios-de-pesquisa\/diretrizes-para-envio-de-trabalhos\/\"><strong><u>Publication Norms<\/u><\/strong><\/a> will be published. By submitting the text, the author declares to be aware of the Norms and agrees with the work\u2019s publication.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #000000;\"><strong>7. <\/strong><\/span><strong><u>On the oral presentations of the papers at the Panels<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>a) The oral presentation must have a maximum duration of 15 minutes.<br \/>\nb) The Congress will make available the necessary electronic equipment (computer and multimedia projectors in the rooms).<br \/>\nc) Authors should bring their presentations on mobile devices. It is not possible to guarantee access to the internet in the rooms.<br \/>\nd) The presenter&#8217;s certificates will be delivered on the day of the presentation of the Panel.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To submit a work proposal in the Panels, please follow the steps below: 1o.
