Therefore, it is an opportunity to find out and explore new issues and discuss current issues, historical facts or epistemological challenges on Latin America or on countries in the region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>Short Term Courses<\/strong> will be taught on <span style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">May 7th, 8th and 9th, 2019 <\/span><\/strong><\/span>and will be 90 minutes duration.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">On <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">March 20<\/span><\/strong>, we will publish the list of short courses approved!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"\" title=\"\">On <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">March 21<\/span><\/strong>, the procedures for registration will be published.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>See below how to enroll as a student:<\/p>\n<p>1.<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> About the Participant in the <strong>Short Term Course <\/strong>as a student<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The course is open to undergraduate and graduate students.<\/p>\n<p>2. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">How to register for <strong>Short Term Courses<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>(a) the list of Short Term Courses will be available from <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>March 20th, 2019<\/strong><\/span> on the Schedule of the Congress,<\/li>\n<li>(b) registrations may be made in a specific Platform (not yet authorized) as of that date, or in person at the time of registration at the Congress,<\/li>\n<li>(c) you should choose <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>two<\/strong><\/span> listed<strong> course options<\/strong> and indicate your 1st and 2nd preferences. The <strong>Organizing Committee<\/strong> will attempt to guarantee your 1st option, but if the maximum number of places is reached, or the course may be canceled, the Commission will guarantee your enrollment in the 2nd.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Important Remarks: <\/span><\/strong><\/span>The maximum number of slots for each <strong>Short Term Course<\/strong> is <strong>30 students<\/strong>, but depending on the request of the lecturer, the vacancies may be extended. The cancellation of a <strong>Short Term Course<\/strong> will occur at the request of the lecturer or when the class has not reached the minimum number of five participants. The <strong>Courses<\/strong> will take place at the same time, and it is not possible to participate in more than one <strong>Course<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>(d) The enrollment fee is <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>$us 10,00 (R$ 30,00)<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li>(e) presenters of papers in Panels will have a discount of 30% in the Registration Fee in the courses. Participants in the <strong>Panels<\/strong> must make <strong>specific registration in the courses<\/strong> to guarantee their vacancy.<\/li>\n<li>(f) It will not be possible to refund the value for registrations in the <strong>Courses<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>(g) Payments must be made on a <strong>specific platform <\/strong>(not yet published)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">3.
