On June 3, 2025, the Research Centre for Greenhouse Gas Innovation (RCGI) at the University of São Paulo (USP) hosted the launch event for the book Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage: Law, Policy and Standardization Perspectives. The event gathered in-person and online participants including researchers, industry professionals, and academics to discuss the legal, regulatory, and standardization frameworks driving carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) technologies.
During the event, authors Eduardo G. Pereira, Alberto J. Fossa, and Thomas L.
