Os projetos de pesquisa nesta \u00e1rea t\u00eam como foco rotas qu\u00edmicas e bioqu\u00edmicas de s\u00edntese, provas de conceito, desenvolvimento de catalisadores, modelagem e otimiza\u00e7\u00e3o de processos. Tamb\u00e9m ser\u00e3o consideradas aplica\u00e7\u00f5es tecnol\u00f3gicas, como desenvolvimento de c\u00e9lulas combust\u00edveis, uso de energia solar e membranas cer\u00e2micas.
