The three-day conference will take place on 25-27 October 2022 at the University of S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil. This unique conference will bring stakeholders together to share knowledge, exchange ideas, gain insight, and showcase expertise to engage with the sustainable transition in the energy sector worldwide.<\/p><p>After two turbulent years of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are delighted to be able to meet again at ETRI 2022 Energy Transition Research and Innovation at the University of S\u00e3o Paulo, the annual conference of the RCGI Research Centre for Greenhouse gas Innovation.<\/p><p>In addition to the great satisfaction of seeing colleagues again away from the computer screens, the 2022 conference presents the progress of the research underway in the six RCGI programs. We will have 144 papers presented in parallel sessions and posters, in addition to 3 keynote talks, panel discussions and a special moment of innovation on the last day of the event.<\/p><p>Clearly, combating climate change is at the heart of everything that is done at RCGI. But this year, we would like to propose a specific reflection in the wake of the most disruptive years of our generation: How will the efforts to neutralize greenhouse gas emissions be articulated in the midst of adversity, geopolitical instabilities, institutional crises and break of continuity in different aspects of our lives? What are the concrete and immediate steps so that the emission neutrality targets are still achievable?<\/p><p>The goal of achieving a sustainable agenda during the energy transition has not changed. Their boundary conditions have changed. In this context, we invite the scientific and technological community engaged with the topic to debate in yet another ETRI.<\/p><p>You are all very welcome. You will have 20min to present your work and interact with the audience. We recommend you target a 15min presentation leaving at least 5min for interaction. You may bring your own notebook with an HDMI port or a memory stick with your presentation. Please arrive at the room 10min before the beginning of the session and follow the instructions of the chairman.<\/p><p><strong>\u201cDigital Poster\u201d sessions A, B, C, D, E<\/strong><\/p><p>Poster sessions will take the form of a brief presentation on big screens distributed in the main hall. Do not bring a printed poster, but prepare slides for a brief 10min presentation to be conducted by you in front of the audience gathered around the screen. Each paper will be presented twice in the same session (10min + 10min) to allow for the audience to circulate around presentations.
