The document provides that the institutions shall have bilateral representation (there will be an office of the Imperial College at USP and vice-versa) for the purpose of developing joint scientific research and for exchanging Professors and researchers in the areas of Engineering, Energy, Petroleum and Natural Gas, Capture and Storage of CO<sub>2<\/sub>, Biofuels, Environment, and others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Present at the signing ceremony, held in London, were Professor Marco Antonio Zago, Dean of USP; Professor Raul Machado Neto, President of the USP Agency for National and International Academic Cooperation (AUCANI); Professor J\u00falio Meneghini, Scientific Director of the FAPESP Shell Research Centre for Gas Innovation (RCGI); and Professors Nigel Brandon (Dean Faculty of Engineering \u2013 Imperial) and James Stirling (Provost Imperial College).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWith the MoU signed, joint research between these institutions will be facilitated and will have the support of bilateral representations.
