Document Management

Document Management acts as an intermediary between the General Archive and the University. It is responsible for the articulation between what is prepared and produced in the General Archive and in the USP community, it also absorbs the demands of the public administration for the generation of products whose objective is to consolidate document management at the university.

Among your responsibilities are:

  • disseminate the policy and guidelines issued by SAUSP to USP units/bodies through the establishment of communication channels, training and promotion of professional exchanges;
  • monitor and disseminate procedures developed/carried out by the end areas of the General Archive in USP units/bodies;
  • provide input for the development of the work of the Document and Access Assessment Committee, collaborating to promote access to public information;
  • carry out studies and surveys to review SAUSP management instruments and
  • monitor and participate in discussions linked to the insertion of computerized technologies for document management.
