Gabriel de Paula Bueno was born in Cascavel, western Paraná. He studied chemistry at the Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná (Unioeste) and completed his bachelor’s degree in the group of Profa. Dr. Flávia Giovana Manarin studying synthetic products (with emphasis on BIM’s). Afterwards, he joined the LaPoCa group to obtain a master’s degree in organic synthesis at the Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR) developing projects containing organochalcogen compounds. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the Clososki Group, at the Universidade de São Paulo (USP) developing a methodology for the synthesis of new quinazolines with synthetic and medicinal interest.
