Prof. Dr. Giuliano Cesar Clososki
Bachelor in Chemistry from the Federal University of Paraná (1998), Master in Chemistry from the Federal University of Paraná (2001) and doctorate in Organic Chemistry from the University of São Paulo (2005). He completed a doctoral internship at the University of California-Santa Barbara (2003-2004) in addition to postdoctoral internships at the State University of Campinas (2005) in the area of Biocatalysis and at Ludwig Maximilians Universität (Munich, Germany) in the area of Organometallics ( 2006-2008). He is currently an Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry at the Department of BioMolecular Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto – USP. His research comprises the development of new synthetic methods aimed at the preparation of bioactive substances, development and application of new organometallic reagents and the synthesis of drugs and pharmochemicals.
