Henrique was born in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil.  He graduated on Pharmacy-Biochemistry from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto at University of São Paulo. During the undergraduation period, he worked with endophytic fungi at Microorganisms Chemistry Laboratory of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences; with synthesis of cumarines derivatives at the Organic Synthesis Laboratory in Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto at University of São Paulo; and with synthesis of amidine and eugenol derivatives at the  Organic Synthesis Laboratory in School of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Also, he was member of the Academic Center “Lourenço Roselino” in Scientific and in Marketing departaments; member of the Academic Athletic Association “XX de Janeiro” as chess sports director; and collaborator of “Cursinho Popular da Farmácia” for low-income middle school students. During his Mastering period, he worked with professor Giuliano C. Clososki with synthesis of eugenol triazolic derivatives, and he was a tutor of the Organic Chemistry undergraduation students. Nowadays, Henrique does his PhD studies with professor Clososki with synthesis of eugenol derivatives using organometallic chemistry.
