Ph.D. Ana Regina Blak

Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1970), master’s degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1973), and a PhD in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1979). Currently, she holds a position as an associate professor at the University of São Paulo. She has experience in the field of Physics, with emphasis on Dosimetric Materials. Studies the characterization of these materials through techniques such as polarization and thermally stimulated depolarization currents, optical absorption, thermoluminescence, electron paramagnetic resonance, and static computational simulation. The main materials studied include: Brazilian natural crystals such as beryl, fluorite, amethyst, and quartz in various colors; oxides such as spinel and aluminum and beryllium oxides, and trivalent ion-doped fluorides.
