Topics

The conference will cover topics on (but not limited to):

• mineralizing extracellular vesicles, 
• nanomaterials for bone tissue regeneration,
• bone-related diseases,
• arthritis nanomedicine,
• extracellular vesicles,
• lipidomics and proteomics of extracellular vesicles,
• protein corona,
• etc.

The aims of the congress are:

1. To provide a platform to discuss about the state-of-the-art on matrix vesicles and related topics;
2. To provide an opportunity to young researchers at all levels (post-docs, graduate students, and undergraduate students) to exchange their ideas and share the results of their research projects;
3. To contribute to boost the internationalization of the graduate programs at the USP;
4. To boost the scientific cooperation between the researchers and further strengthening currently ongoing collaborations.

The Best Poster Presentation Awards (Students)

The best poster will be selected by a panel of judges, consisting of the Keynote Speakers. Two awards will be conferred during the closing ceremony of the Symposium.

Abstracts for oral (invited) and poster presentations are highly recommended for presentation at this symposium.

For undergraduate and graduate students, the submission of abstracts and poster presentation are strongly recommended.

Official language is English.

Poster format: portrait, 70 width x 100 height. We kindly ask that they come with a string already attached for easy hanging.

An abstract shall be attached for oral communication (invited speaker) or poster presentation. A conference booklet will be emailed to all the registered participants.

Instructions for abstract submission (Word)

1. Font: Arial, 12 pt.
2. Abstract size is 8.5″ x 5.5″ (19 cm x 14 cm) with 1.27 cm margins.
3. Title should be in bold letters, capitalized and centered across the page
4. Author names are centered and identified with numerical superscripts with the presenting author’s name underlined.
5. Author affiliations are centered and identified with numerical superscripts that correspond to the respective author’s names; include the email address for the presenting author.
6. The main text should contain up to 200 words.
