NEP – Nanotechnology and Processes Engineering was formed in 2018. We have drawn attention to the development of nanostructures and organic-inorganic materials aiming to produce ordering and size control within nanometer scale. Four main areas have been made: 1. Synthesis and characterization of metal oxides; 2. Organic compounds for design of architectures; 3. Reuse of industrial sub- or waste-products, and scale-up modeling; 4. Process Engineering, especially focused on downstream of products, separations and extraction process and phase equilibrium.
