LaPCat at the EuropaCat 2025

Between August 31 and September 5, 2025, PhD students Heloisa Ruschel Bortolini and Victor Albertini, together with postdoctoral researcher Morgana Rosset, participated in the 16th European Congress on Catalysis (EuropaCat), held in Trondheim, Norway.

PhD student Heloisa gave an oral presentation entitled “Investigation of Ga-Pt/HZSM-5 catalysts prepared by atomic layer deposition for ethane dehydroaromatization with and without CO₂”, a study developed during her doctoral exchange at Northwestern University.

PhD student Victor presented the poster “Evaluation of chemically modified zeolites for the conversion of CO₂ and CH₄”, part of his doctoral research conducted at LaPCat.

Postdoctoral researcher Morgana presented two posters: “Investigation of oxygen species dynamics, carbon deposition and removal on LaNi-Zn perovskite catalysts for methane dry reforming”, a work linked to the PhD research of Dr. Juliana Bertoldi, and “Efficient Hydrogen Production via Ammonia Decomposition: investigating Ni-based catalysts with varying support properties”, related to the ammonia decomposition project she is currently developing at LaPCat.

Participation in international scientific events such as EuropaCat is of great importance, as it provides the opportunity to keep up with the latest advances in the field, establish connections with experts from different institutions, exchange experiences and knowledge, and strengthen the presence and representation of LaPCat and USP within the global scientific community.
