The following database, obtained from the Federal Government’s Transparency Portal, shows the amounts spent on the salaries of Brazilian civil servants associated with diplomacy between 2013 and 2022. These figures are deflated (corrected for inflation, based on the year 2022), using December salaries as a base. Some civil servants do not return salary figures on the Transparency Portal; in these cases we used the average salary for that year and functional category to fill in the missing data.
