Anyone whose project involves animal experimentation must present proof of participation in the Training Course on the Use of Animals for Experimentation.

Everyone who needs to handle radioactive material in their research projects must present a certificate for the ICB Radiation Protection Course at USP, or an equivalent certificate from CNEN.
The Radiation Protection Center at ICB was created to use ionizing radiation sources at USP-ICB in order to offer radiation protection with quality, ensuring safety within the institution.
In graduate studies, students may take the discipline ICB 5720 – Radiation Protection.
