Regular student Selection Criteria

The selection process is carried out for Master’s, Doctorate (for a student with a master’s degree from USP or recognized by it) and Direct Doctorate (without previous obtaining a Master’s degree). CPG must disclose the registration period, the number of vacancies, the selection criteria and the bibliography for the knowledge test in the Official Gazette of the State of São Paulo (DOE) and in the Program portal http: //sites.usp. br / ppg-pst / and mural of the department.

The disclosure must be made up to 150 days before the registration date. Registrations for the Master’s, Doctorate and Direct Doctorate courses are made in the second semester of each year, as long as vacancies are available. Upon registration, the candidate must present the documents requested in the notice published on the Program website http://sites.usp.br/ppg-pst/processo-seletivo/. The selection process for the Doctorate course will be carried out through eliminatory exams of proficiency in two foreign languages, as provided in Item V of this Standard, and by the evaluation of the candidate by the Judging Committee indicated by the CCP, in order to assess your proposal for a Doctorate project, its potential, the reasons for choosing the Program, its publications, the use of its academic experiences and the inclusion of postgraduate studies in its life project.
