NEW FORM TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS FOR THE USE OF ANIMALS TO CEUA- ICB/USP
The Ethics Committee on Animal Use of ICB announces that the new program for submission of proposals for use of animals in ICB is available. The previous system will be disabled for inclusion of new proposals on 11/01/2017.
In the new system, the proposal will be fully completed and submitted over the Internet by accessing http://www.ceua.icb.usp.br. After accessing the system, click on the “Guidelines” tab for basic access information.
The program is self-explanatory, but the representatives of the CEUA of your Department will schedule, in each Department, a brief training to demonstrate the program.
We also inform you that with the new CEUA system some procedures will be modified, among them:
It will no longer be necessary to send hard copies to the CEUA secretariat, since all the procedures will be carried out via the system.
The proof of proposal submission required for the enrollment of new graduate students will be issued by the system’s Control Panel.
The follow-up of the proposal’s progress will occur via e-mail and/or by accessing the system’s Control Panel.
The deadline for submitting proposals has been changed to 15 days before the meeting date. The deadlines are listed in the Calendar on the CEUA on the ICB website (ww2.icb.usp.br/icb/ceua).
PROOF OF PROJECT SUBMISSION TO THE ETHICS COMMITTEE
At the time of registration, the students must present, obligatorily, the proof of submission of the project to the responsible Ethics Committee (of ICB) (of animals or human beings) or, when it is the case, proof of the request for exemption
