Research interests: Cancer biology and Antineoplastic agents
Description: Our research group is based on the following pillars: (i) identification of new therapeutic targets or prognostic indicators in hematological neoplasms and solid tumors, (ii) identification of mechanisms of resistance to current antineoplastic therapy, and (iii) identification or repositioning of drugs for the antineoplastic arsenal. Our projects have mechanistic and multidisciplinary approaches, through the use of multiple experimental models of neoplasms, genetically modified animals, cell cultures and in vivo and in vitro evaluations at the cellular and molecular level
