We offer courses leading to the degree of Masters of Science (lasting 2-3 years) and doctor of Philosophy (PhD)  (3-4 years) for medical and non-medical graduates.

Our goal is to train students to assume different positions:

1. As active researchers in academia and in research and development in private companies;
2. As teachers of public and private universities;
3. As professionals with skills in critical evaluation of research results and their applicability in their daily professional activity;
4. As professionals committed to the improvement of public health because infectious diseases still have a great social impact in our country.

We are endeavored to give our students a rich academic experience with a solid theoretical background, and an opportunity to develop high-level scientific research. Our goal is to broaden the horizons of our graduate students in any field they pursue.
