Genetic Epidemiology Group

The aim of our group is to identify genetic and environmental causes of diseases that disproportionately affect Latin American populations, contributing to set the basis for the development of regional public health policies. We are also dedicated to providing an in-depth characterization of our populations, genotypically and phenotypically, taking into consideration the evolutionary context that produced them.
