Research Overview
My research combines computational methods and empirical investigation of business processes, intelligent systems, and their organizational and social consequences.
Research Areas
Business processes and process mining
Business process management and process mining, including process modeling, discovery, conformance analysis, predictive monitoring, and the interpretation of process data.
Artificial intelligence
Use of large language models (LLMs) in information systems, and the analysis of business and public administration processes.
Social robotics
Human-robot interaction and the use of social robots in health, aging, and education, including the empirical evaluation of interaction, engagement, and acceptance.
Algorithmic fairness
Bias and fairness in machine learning and predictive process monitoring, with attention to how computational decisions affect different people and groups.
