Research Supervision
I supervise research in Information Systems and Gerontology at EACH-USP, including interdisciplinary projects connecting computing, organizations, health, and society.
Topics for prospective students
- Business process management and process mining.
- Artificial intelligence for information systems and public administration.
- Social robotics, human-robot interaction, and applications in aging, health, and education.
- Algorithmic fairness in machine learning and predictive process monitoring.
For Prospective Students
If you are interested in developing research with me, please email a brief description of your academic background, your research interests, and the question or problem you would like to investigate. Include a CV or a link to your Lattes profile and indicate the graduate program and level of study you are considering.
I value clear research questions, critical engagement with the literature, methodological rigor, reproducible experiments, and transparent reporting of results and limitations. A well-motivated initial idea is a useful starting point for discussing research fit.
Teaching
I teach in the undergraduate Information Systems program and contribute to graduate education at EACH-USP. My teaching connects computing and information systems with research on business processes, artificial intelligence, and the interaction between people and technology.
