Photobiophysics Group

The interaction of light with living matter can help with the understanding of living systems in general and of human beings in particular.

The research interest of our group is the interaction of light with biological systems. We seek to understand biological specimens and biophysical processes from the molecular to the level of complex living organisms. In particular, we are interested in tissue characterization from the physics point of view, and in building diagnostics techniques, from the biomedical engineering point of view.
