We are interested in new approaches to developing efficiently bioprocess for a broad spectrum of molecules.
Our group is very young, it was created in March 2019. The founder members were Professor Eutimio Gustavo and four undergraduate students from the Bachelor degree in Biotechnology, Gustavo, Ismael, Felipe, and Thiago. The initial meetings were organized on the floor in front of EACH’s library and the main subjects were industrial applications of Metabolic Engineering and Synthetic Biology. At this moment we are studying deeply the metabolic engineering principles to submit scientific proposals at the end of the current year.
We are also interested in the development of biopharmaceutical processes and industrial enzyme manufacturing using a system approach as well as artificial intelligence, statistical and mathematical tools.
