Myths and Stereotypes of Old Age and Aging

Academic Extension Project (2020-2021) that aims to create artistic scientific disclosure material. The data used is a result of a narrative review named Myths  and Stereotypes of old age and ageing: a narrative review on specialized Brazilian journals. It consists on a Graduation Final Project of the Gerontology Program from  the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities, University of São Paulo, Brazil. The author is Cristiano de Assis, under the tutorship of Doctor Andrea Lopes.

The project was created thanks to the funding of University of São Paulo’s Fellowship Program.

The project’s final product is a pilot version of the magazine No Place for Chance, with versions in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

The publication’s editorial team is composed of Cristiano de Assis, Suzanne Tanoue, Patrícia Yokomizo and Doctor Andrea Lopes, with the special collaboration of Milton Rocha.

Recently, this pilot version became an e-book, published by Edições EACH USP, São Paulo University, Brazil. It is also in the same three languages and free of charge. You can check the version English version here.
