Development of technological routes for the production of C₂+ hydrocarbons from CO₂.

The catalytic CO₂ conversion project into light olefins is a collaboration between Braskem S.A. and the University of São Paulo (USP), conducted through the Research Center for Innovation in Greenhouse Gases (RCG2I). The objective is to develop technologies that transform CO₂ into value-added chemicals, such as unsaturated hydrocarbons, using different catalytic routes. The project involves experimental studies, modeling, and simulation, promoting a non-fossil alternative for light olefin production and contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
