Prof. Paulo Olivi approved in Contest for Full Professor

Prof. Paulo Olivi took another important step in his professional career. Last Friday, 07, he was approved in a Contest for Full Professor, held between 03 and 07 February 2020 at the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (FFCLRP/USP).

Born in Araraquara/SP, prof. Paulo Olivi graduated in Chemistry from the Federal University of São Carlos in 1986, becoming a Master and Doctor from the same university in 1989 and 1993, respectively, having studied for two years at the Université de Poitiers during his doctorate. He joined the University of São Paulo, Ribeirão Preto campus, in 1996, obtaining the title of Associate Professor in 2011. In addition to teaching classes and mentoring graduate students, he has held administrative positions as Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Chemistry at FFCLRP and is currently Head of the Chemistry Department at FFCLRP (09/2018-09/2020). In addition, he is a scientific advisor to the FAPESP and CNPq fomentation agencies.
