Foreign language proficiency

All students must demonstrate proficiency in English, both for the Master and for the Doctorate.

To check the foreign language proficiency, the student must submit a certificate by an institution recognized by the CPG, with the minimum score required for each course and accomplished within stipulated date.

Master:

a) TOEFL (Test of Inglês as a Foreign Language):

a.1) Traditional – Paper-based – a minimum of 450 points – life 2 years

a.2) Traditional – Computer-based (CBT) – a minimum of 135 points – life 2 years

a.3) Traditional – Internet-based test (IBT) – a minimum of 45 points – life 2 years

a.4) Institutional – Institutional Testing Program (ITP) – a minimum of 350 points – life 2 years

b) Cambridge FCE (First Certificate in Inglês) – life 5 years

c) IELTS (International Inglês Language Testing System) – minimum of 4.5 points – life 2 years

d) TEAP (Test of Inglês for Academic Purposes) – minimum of 50 points – life 2 years

Doctoral:

a) TOEFL (Test of Inglês as a Foreign Language):

a.1) Traditional – Paper-based – a minimum of 550 points – life 2 years

a.2) Traditional – Computer-based (CBT) – a minimum of 213 points – life 2 years

a.3) Traditional – Internet-based test (IBT) – 80 points – life 2 years

b) Cambridge CAE (Certificate in Advanced Inglês) – life 5 years

c) IELTS (International Inglês Language Testing System) – minimum of 6.0 points – life 2 years

d) TEAP (Test of Inglês for Academic Purposes) – minimum of 70 points – life 2 years

Foreign students, in addition to English language proficiency is also required proficiency in English language, demonstrated by the presentation of one of the certificates mentioned below, within the validity period of 2 years:

a) CELPE-Bras

b) REPORTS

DEADLINE FOR CERTIFICATE OF PRESENTATION: twelve (12) months after the date of first registration in the Course.

WARNING: Failure to provide proof of proficiency, with a minimum score required and within the deadline will result in the shutdown of the student in the course.
