Visible Evidence is one of the most important international conferences dedicated to the study of documentary cinema and non-fiction media, bringing together researchers, filmmakers, and audiovisual professionals in a global network that has been consolidated for over 30 years.
The 32nd edition, to be held in São Paulo, Brazil, from December 8th–11th, 2026, marks a strategic moment for the international visibility of Brazilian and Latin American research and audiovisual production, with a strong emphasis on Global South perspectives.
