Developing International Geoarchaeology – DIG
O DIG é uma série de conferências internacionais que surgiu em 2005 e acontece bianualmente em diferentes partes do mundo. Tem objetivo de reunir uma ampla variedade de pesquisadores, profissionais e estudantes internacionais em torno dos diversos temas da Geoarqueologia, além de facilitar a discussão, estimular a pesquisa e cooperações.
DIG is an international conference series that started in 2005 and is held biannually in different parts of the world. It aims to bring together a wide variety of international researchers, practitioners, and students around the diverse themes of Geoarchaeology, facilitate discussion, and stimulate research and cooperation.

GEGAL – Grupo de Estudos Geoarqueológicos de América Latina (Group of Geoarchaeological Studies of Latin America)
O GEGAL foi criado em 2012 durante o VI Encontro de Teoria Arqueológica da América do Sul (VI TAAS, Goiás, Brasil) para integrar, trocar experiências e desenvolver atividades conjuntas em Geoarqueologia. Além do encontro anual, o GEGAL desenvolve diversas atividades voltadas à divulgação, capacitação de estudantes e profissionais e colaborações entre pesquisadores da América Latina
GEGAL was created in 2012 during the VI Meeting of Archaeological Theory of South America (VI TAAS, Goiás, Brazil) to integrate, exchange experiences, and develop joint activities concerning Geoarchaeology. In addition to the annual meeting, GEGAL develops several activities aimed at dissemination, training of students and professionals, and collaborations among researchers in Latin America
