A ida a campo pós-congresso será uma visita aos sambaquis da região de Cananéia-Iguape no litoral sul de São Paulo. O passeio terá um pernoite na cidade de Cananéia. No dia seguinte visitaremos os sítios arqueológicos e depósitos do quaternário costeiro, com retorno à cidade de São Paulo após a visitação aos sítios.
A comissão organizadora se responsabiliza aos interessados o transporte de São Paulo – Cananéia – São Paulo, com a saída no dia 24/11 e retorno dia 25/11. Porém, a alimentação e hospedagem deve ser de responsabilidade dos participantes.

Information on the post-congress field trip:
The post-congress field trip will consist of a visit to the sambaquis (shell mounds) of the Cananéia-Iguape region, located on the south coast of São Paulo. The tour will include an overnight stay in the town of Cananéia. On the following day, we will visit both the archaeological sites and some exposures of Quaternary coastal deposits, returning to the city of São Paulo afterward.
The region of Cananéia, on the south coast of São Paulo, has been populated since the early Holocene by sambaqui peoples
The organizing committee will cover transport costs from São Paulo to Cananéia and back to São Paulo, leaving on 24/11 and returning on 25/11. However, food and accommodation must be afforded by the participants.
