The doctoral student Leonardo Avilez presented his research at the 35th European Symposium on Computer-Aided Process Engineering (ESCAPE-35), held in Ghent, Belgium, between July 6 and July 9, 2025.
The work, entitled “High-pressure Membrane Reactor for Ammonia Decomposition: Modeling, Simulation and Scale-up using a Python–Aspen Custom Modeler Interface”, focused on the development and scale-up of a high-pressure membrane reactor model for ammonia decomposition, integrating Python scripting with Aspen Custom Modeler.
The conference provided an excellent opportunity to share ideas, receive valuable fhttps://lnkd.in/dP-r6Dyneedback, and engage in discussions with researchers from around the world.
