The establishment of the Professional Master’s Degree in Medicine was driven by the need to improve the residents’ training to meet the market demands of professionals with critical thinking for the technological and scientific production, knowledge on public health policies, and autonomy in the management of their professional performance. The course aims to develop skills to empower the physician for changes and the development of health practices. The Professional Master’s Degree in Medicine recently approved by CAPES, is addressed to physicians who have attended or are enrolled in Medical Residency Programs accredited by the National Committee of Medical Residency. Physicians from various areas such as Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Physiatrists, Gynecology & Obstetrics, Health and Family Medicine, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Otorhinolaryngology, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry compose our faculty. Moreover, our faculty has extensive technical-scientific training associated with the health practice, expertise in the services organization, guidelines for clinical protocols, and development of new health technologies.
