Mission

Created in 2005, the General Archive of the University of São Paulo is the central agency of SAUSP, the USP Archive System.

In the University structure, it is subordinate to the Department of Administration (DA) of the USP Rectory. 

Its main purposes:

. disseminate policies for the management of records (physical or digital) produced or accumulated by the University

. protect your permanent records (physical or digital), ensuring their conservation and organization with a view to research and dissemination
