Researchers Participate in Catalysis Summer School in France

Last month, postdoctoral researcher Morgana Rosset and PhD candidate Lucas Alves represented LaPCat at the 4th Summer School in Catalysis – Catalysis: From Understanding to Applications, held in Albi, France.

The event brought together researchers, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students from several countries to discuss the latest advances in catalysis aimed at the development of sustainable processes. Throughout the program, topics such as advanced in situ and operando characterization techniques, computational chemistry, mechanistic studies, reaction kinetics, as well as catalytic reactor modeling and engineering were addressed.

Participation in international events plays an important role in strengthening the training of our researchers, and we believe that the knowledge acquired during the summer school will directly contribute to the research conducted at LaPCat, fostering the implementation of new experimental and computational methodologies in the field of catalysis.
