PPGSUS STUDENT HAS BEEN SELECTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE BRICS YOUNG SCIENTISTS FORUM

Every year, in conjunction with the BRICS Summit, parallel activities focused on science, technology and innovation (ST&I) are carried out. As in previous editions, the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC) was invited by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations (MCTI) to nominate participants for the BRICS Young Scientists Forum (YSF), and candidates and judges for the BRICS Young Innovator Prize (YIP). The YSF takes place between August 29 and September 1, under China’s rotating presidency.

This year, young researcher Vitor Cano, a graduate of PPGSUS, was selected for the BRICS YIP 2022, renewable energy axis, with the Project “Generation of electricity from effluent treatment as a new source of clean and renewable energy in fuel cells microbial”.
