Biomedical Instrumentation
This area includes the development and characterization of transducers, protocols and measurement analysis to support the control of human health. The Group GIIMUS has a close relationship with many scientific and technological centers for clinical research at the Medical School and Central Hospital of Ribeirão Preto and the industry.
Some of the main transducers that have been developed are:
- AC Biosusceptometer;
- Magnetomotive ultrasound transducer ( Bruno et al. 2,013 );
- Transducer viscometer ( Almeida et al., 2010 );
- Transducer for acoustic radiation force measurement based magnetic measurements ( Kamimura et al., 2011 );
- Dynamic elasticity measure system.
