1st International Meeting on Plant Breeding
Proceedings from the 2017 edition of the International Meeting on Plant Breeding.
Plant breeding plays a central role in developing productive, stable and resilient cultivars for changing agricultural conditions. Because the field combines genetics, statistics, genomics, phenotyping and crop science, scientific progress depends on dialogue among researchers and professionals working across complementary areas.
The International Meeting on Plant Breeding was created to provide a space for this exchange. Through lectures, scientific presentations and discussions, the event brings together participants from public and private institutions to share current research, methodological advances and perspectives on challenges in agriculture.
As part of the “Corteva Plant Sciences Symposia” series, the meeting supports scientific communication, collaboration and access to up-to-date knowledge in genetics and plant breeding.
