This project deals with the utilization of CO2, emphasizing chemical conversion processes that use CO2 as feedstock to generate high value-added products. The main objective is to study CO2 conversion processes in depth, including their modeling, simulation, and optimization, thus contributing to their implementation in the production phase. The most promising CO2 products and their respective process technologies are selected in order to elaborate a conceptual process design through realistic material and energy balances. Technical, economic and environmental feasibility assessments are carried out in the study.
