Synthesis of DME by catalytic hydrogenation of CO2

One of the products generated by CO₂ hydrogenation is DME (dimethyl ether), a non-toxic compound, with no corrosive or carcinogenic effects, with great potential to be used as a fuel. The project consists in synthesizing catalysts that allow the direct synthesis of DME, with metals Cu, Zn, Zr and Ce impregnated in carbon nanotubes.
