Professor Fernando Segato visits the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology, in England.

In November, Professor Fernando Segato visited the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology, in England, with support from FAPESP’s SPRINT project. On the occasion, the professor gave a lecture on his lines of research to professors, researchers and students of the department. 

The visit was aimed at creating links with the institution and collaborating with Prof. Sam Hey, who works in computational chemistry focused on electron transport. 

During this trip, doctoral student Marta Vélez was present and learned to use some computational tools. With the knowledge acquired, Marta will be able to model the proteins that are worked on by Prof. Segato.
