ABSTRACTS

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS

Deadline:  May 25th, 2019

In this edition, registration and payment for participation in PAMinSA VIII will be carried out through the Even3 platform, whose link is available below.

Abstracts must be presented in English or Spanish, with a maximum of 500 words.

Rules for submission:

1. The abstract must be submitted by the first author who must be registered prior to the submission;
2. If they intend to attend PAMinSA VIII, the other authors must inform in their registration that they are co-authors in an abstract already submitted;
3. For symposium and/or podium sessions only two abstracts per author will be accepted (irrespective of authorship position). For posters there are no limits of submission per author;
4. Abstracts must be presented in English or Spanish, with a maximum of 500 words. For each symposium, a general summary with a maximum of 500 words must also be provided by the coordinator.
5. You must use the Abstract template available for download HERE. The template is already in the correct format (simple space, font Times New Roman 12 pt). Abstracts must contain the following information: Purpose / Research Question; Methods; Results; Conclusions.
6. The title of the file must contain: your name, mode of presentation (symposium, podium, or poster), and registration category (PPA member, Student PPA member, etc.) (for example: Wesolowski poster PPA member). For symposium proposals please include all individual abstracts as part of a single digital file (.doc)
7. The abstracts must be submitted through file upload at the time of registration via link: https://www.even3.com.br/paminsa
8. The Organizing Committee will notify the first author when they receive their abstracts, submit the abstracts to the Scientific Committee before accepting them and send a notification of the decision.
9. For Symposium and poster presentations acceptance will be decided by the Scientific Committee based on the evaluation provided by external reviewers. Podium presentations will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee and by the coordinator of each podium session.
10. If the Scientific Committee rejects a summary, the First Author may request a refund of the pre-registration fee. This also applies to co-authors who have registered, unless they are the first author in any other accepted document
