9:00 am – brief introduction and presentation of the course (Prof. Danielle and Prof. Holmer) – 30 minutes
9:30 am – Environmental Impact & the role of Life Cycle Assessment – 1 hour
10:30 am – LCA Principles & Standards
– Interactive setting of boundaries & function unit for own material
– Participants are asked to decide in advance about one topic for interactive study during the course (ideally that they’re working on) – 2 hours

9:00 am – Process Mapping Activity – All day long – with 2 hour drop in at the end of the day with Prof. Danielle

30/08
9:00 am – Principles of modelling & conducting inventory analysis & potential next steps – 1 hour
– Presentation of computing (software) tools
– Using LCA to guide material develop & selection – the bigger picture – 30 mins summing up
– General questions – 30 min
– Inventory analysis & potential next steps – 1 hour
– Presentation of computing (software) tools

Course Dynamics
Participants should preferably choose a topic to work on during the course (“case study”), which may be, for example, their own research study (graduate study or an applied study).
The Profa. Danielle will accompany all the individual LCA works of the participants until Friday, 09/01/2017 (or if necessary until 06/09 of the following week).
