Ipiranga Museum under reconstruction

On April 29, 2022, GEMA researchers visited the renovation and restoration works of the Paulista Museum of the University of São Paulo, also called Ipiranga Museum. On the occasion, it was possible to see the setup of the “Work and Happiness” room, resulting from research carried out by the group’s coordinator, Professor Vânia Carneiro de Carvalho, and by the researchers Laura Stocco Felicio, Maria Eugênia Gomes and Viviane Aguiar. The room is part of the exhibition “Casas e Coisas” (“Houses and Things”), which will be inaugurated with the Museum, in September 2022, in commemoration of the Bicentennial of the Independence of Brazil.
