Profa. Tatiane da Franca Silva

Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2005), Master’s degree in Genetics (2008) by the same institution and Doctorate’s degree by the Graduate Program in Plant Biotechnology of UFRJ (2012). Presents experience in the area of Plant Molecular Genetics, Plant-pathogen Interaction, Phylogenetic Analysis, Cloning and Gene Expression. Currently, is a Professor at the Engineering College of Lorena, University of São Paulo (EEL-USP), with interest in the characterization of genes involved in the biosynthesis and structure of the cellulose microfibrils present in the wall of the plant cell.
