The Public Health Program of the Faculty of Public Health of the University of São Paulo holds a long tradition in graduate education even before the formal graduate studies had been implemented in Brazil. Since 1928, the Faculty of Public Health has been educating boards of specialists in Public Health to all government levels, which has greatly influenced the public health policies in Brazil.
