É com grande entusiasmo que anunciamos a primeira participação da Universidade de São Paulo (USP) na VivaTech 2025! De 11 a 14 de junho, no Expo Porte de Versailles, em Paris, este evento de destaque — a maior feira de startups e tecnologia da Europa — reunirá líderes globais de tecnologia, startups, empresas e investidores para impulsionar a inovação e enfrentar os desafios mais urgentes do mundo.
A estreia da USP na VivaTech será em parceria com a FAPESP (Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo), com um estande localizado ao lado da APEX Brasil, destacando a força da ciência, do empreendedorismo e da tecnologia brasileiros em um cenário internacional. Essa participação foi viabilizada por meio de um acordo firmado com a VivaTech em novembro de 2024, quando uma delegação da USP, liderada pelo reitor Carlos Gilberto Carlotti Junior, esteve na França para fortalecer parcerias acadêmicas e de inovação internacionais.
Durante o evento, a USP ocupará um estande de 100 metros quadrados, onde apresentará projetos e iniciativas disruptivas que representam as contribuições de ponta do Brasil para a ciência e a tecnologia. Vinte startups e outras tecnologias apoiadas pela USP e pela FAPESP exibirão seus avanços em inovação ambiental, saúde, transição energética, inteligência artificial e sustentabilidade.
Os visitantes também poderão vivenciar uma instalação multissensorial imersiva que simula a Floresta Amazônica, desenvolvida em parceria com a Natura, utilizando estímulos visuais, sonoros e olfativos para transportar o público ao coração da biodiversidade brasileira, entre outras experiências.
Essa participação marca um marco importante para a USP, o RCGI e a FAPESP, reforçando seu compromisso com a internacionalização, o empreendedorismo científico e a promoção de inovações sustentáveis e de alto impacto.
