Criação do logotipo do GEMDIT
A identidade visual do GEMDIT foi pensada a partir da combinação de dois pontos: sua finalidade, enquanto extensão universitária da USP, de difundir o conhecimento produzido na academia para a sociedade; e sua organização interna, que apresenta uma dinâmica multidisciplinar e aberta ao diálogo, composto por alunos do doutorado, mestrado e graduação de diversas instituições.
As formas geométricas buscam representar a importância da cooperação horizontal, tanto entre docentes e estudantes, quanto entre instituições de ensino superior e população. Extensões como o GEMDIT criam espaços onde as informações circulam de maneira livre e acessível a todos, estimulando alterações nas estruturas sociais – fato que, por sua vez, retorna ao ambiente da universidade, fomentando a pesquisa e as demais atividades de ensino.
Essa nada mais é do que uma interpretação que reflete minha vivência pessoal como integrante do GEMDIT durante a graduação. O grupo sempre ofereceu aos seus integrantes algo que considero essencial para uma formação mais completa: a valorização às diversas formas de contribuição, especialmente aquelas que fogem ao escopo tradicional do Direito. Muitas vezes nos esquecemos que somos indivíduos multifacetados, e que nossas experiências e habilidades, por mais simples que sejam, tem seu valor, podendo ser úteis nas ocasiões mais fortuitas. Certamente, participar do GEMDIT me mostrou novas perspectivas de atuação no futuro.

Creation of the GEMDIT logo
The visual identity of GEMDIT was conceived from the combination of two points: its purpose, as a university outreach of USP, to disseminate the knowledge produced in academia to the society; and its internal organization, which presents multidisciplinary dynamics and open to dialogue, composed of doctorate, master’s and undergraduate students from different institutions.
The geometric shapes seek to represent the importance of horizontal cooperation, both between teachers and students and between higher education institutions and the population. Outreach activities like the GEMDIT ones create spaces where information circulates in a free and accessible manner to everyone, stimulating changes in social structures – a fact that, in turn, goes back to the university environment, fostering research and other teaching activities.
This is nothing more than an interpretation that reflects my personal experience as a GEMDIT member during the undergraduate course. The group has always offered its members something that I consider essential for a more complete education: valuing the different forms of contribution, especially those that are outside the traditional scope of the Law. We often forget that we are multifaceted individuals and that our experiences and skills, however simple they may be, have their value and may be useful on the most fortuitous occasions. Surely, taking part in the GEMDIT showed me new perspectives for future works.
